Camera WiFi network issues

Camera is not able to connect to wifi


Check that your wifi router is on and within the range of the camera.


The wifi network name and password are case-sensitive so please ensure they are both typed correctly.


Please also check that your WiFi network name and password are less than 20 characters each.


Bluebell Cam currently only supports 2.4 GHz wifi networks. If your camera is not connecting despite having a 2.4 GHz network, try splitting the 2.4 GHz network and 5 GHz network on your WiFi router settings. This is typically done following these steps:

  1. Go to the Wireless page of the router on your laptop or phone browser. The address is usually provided on the label on the back of the router.

  2. Go to the 2.4 GHz settings page, and add (2.4G) at the end of the existing Wi-Fi name (SSID) Save these settings.

  3. If you have any other devices that connect only on 2.4 GHz networks, their wifi details need to be updated.
