Can't hear the chime when scanning the QR code?

Bluebell Cam not showing a blinking red light

After plugging in, the Bluebell Cam can show a solid red light for about 30 secs and then switch to a blinking red light.

If the camera is on, but not showing a blinking red light, please reset the camera to get it ready for pairing. To reset the camera and make it ready for pairing, press and hold the reset button at the back of the camera for about 5 seconds until you hear a chime. The camera will then restart and after about 30 seconds it should show a blinking red light indicating it's ready for pairing.

Your camera is in pairing mode. Please check the following:

  • The sticker is removed from the lens of the camera and there are no cracks on the lens.
  • The brightness on your mobile device is at 100%, you are not in dark mode, and there aren’t cracks on your screen that would interfere with the QR code.
  • Hold up your QR Code to the camera about 6-8 inches (15-20cm) away from the lens.
  • If there is no chime within several seconds, try moving your device around slowly to better align the QR code to the Cam.
