Bluebell's research on mental wellbeing

We are researching if Bluebell can help parents like you get the support they need for postnatal mental health. We are aiming to identify if we are able to identify any issues from the data from the parent wristband, the baby monitor, and the app. This includes issues like postnatal depression, which is a type of depression that many parents experience after having a baby. It's a common problem, affecting more than 1 in every 10 women within a year of giving birth. It can also affect fathers and partners.

As a part of this research, we would like to ask you quick questions about your mental wellbeing in the next few months. This includes a daily mood questionnaire, a weekly two-question questionnaire (PHQ-2), and a monthly 9-question questionnaire (PHQ-9).

All data will be aggregated and analysed anonymously. The data will be processed according to our standard Terms & Conditions and Privacy policy. None of the data will be linked to identifiable information, shared with any 3rd party, or used for any other purpose than research and product development. You can opt out at any point from entering your information or contact our customer service for removing your data.

The findings will then help us develop features that can help Bluebell parents get the help they need early. Your participation would be very helpful for future Bluebell parents.

As a sign of our appreciation, we will also draw a £200 Amazon voucher between all the participants. All those taking part in our mental wellbeing data collection will be included in the draw for a chance to win for £200 Amazon vouchers. Draw will take place on 1st April. The winner will be selected at random. The voucher is not exchangeable for cash or any other alternative. The winner will be notified by email. The voucher will be sent via email by 15th April.
